I had the unique experience of being among Todd's first music students. I studied with him as a 4th-5th grader but then again in greater capacity through much of high school, culminating with flute studies in my senior year. I have always had much admiration for him as he always pursued a greater excellence. Now that I am also a music teacher, I even more highly value his commitment to his craft, teaching through learning. A student could not ask for a better attribute in a teacher, than one who is a lifelong learner.

I have been a French horn student of Todd Brill for almost 4 years. He is a patient, gentle and talented teacher. His knowledge of music is solid and he knows how to teach in such a way that things 'sink-in'. He not only just tells you how you should sound but he also can play along with you to show you the proper intonation and technique. Mr Brill, one of his students and I together performed with the King's Brass on two occasions. His coaching help that performance was invaluable. Thanks to him we were able to play with confidence, knowing that we learned the right way to play the music. Believe me when I give Mr. Brill a five star recommendation because I am 61 years old; if he can teach me he can teach anyone. I now play with the Calvary Church Orchestra and I have Mr. Brill to thank.
